As parents are our vital partners in education, we have been maintaining a close communication with parents through holding different kinds of parent involvement activities, including parent observation in the classroom, parents’ talks and parents’ meetings. This enables parents to get a better understanding of their children’s learning performance, and hence we can join hands with each other to foster children’s all-round development.
We emphasise parenting education. In cooperation with the Parent-Teacher Association, on-site social workers and early childhood professionals, we organise talks, workshops, education programmes and other activities for parents in order to equip parents with more parenting information and related skills, which will also help them maintain a healthy family relationship.
We offer parents opportunities to take part in school activities as the role of parent volunteer. They will be able to gain a better understanding of their children’s learning progress through active participation.
